No Challenges today - just a simple card

I don't know how much time I will have to create and play this week as we will be preparing for next week's vacation. We'll see how the week unfolds. For today, I have a very simple card that I made. A year ago I purchased a coordinated paper pack from Archiver's. It was made exclusively for them and I don't remember the manufacturer. It had WONDERFUL papers in it, very soft and subtle...just my style. (The circles used in this card are miniatures of some of the papers.) I've used quite a bit of it, but it also came with a cardstock sheet of punch outs. I didn't really know what to do with them, but was playing with some of them the other day (as I was cleaning out my supplies - it's much more fun to play than to sort!!) and this is what I came up with. As I said, it's really simple. The solid green paper is paper weight, and I dry embossed the wavy edge...then sanded it to make the white core appear then attached it to my cardstock base. I have a couple other cards that I have created with the same punch outs. I'll probably share them another day. Thanks for stopping by. May your day be blessed!
