Cleaning up the Craft Room!

Well, this is Spring Break week for our school district.  I've been busy getting some much needed work done around home.  One of those tasks was cleaning my work area (and we all know how easy it is to let that area get cluttered).  While cleaning, I found several"orphaned" items and decided to make them into cards, instead of tucking them away for future use.

This first card is all Stampin' Up!, and was created with scraps (except for the card base).

This next two cards were made using leftover cut-outs from a die cut.  I really liked the pink color and didn't want to throw them away.  The paper flowers were left over from another kit.  I think they went together well and make nice "thinking of you" type cards.

Now, I KNOW that these next two are REALLY out of season, but as I commented earlier...I DIDN'T want to just put the stuff away.  I wanted to create something I could pull out and use.  The first card is made from paper I had in my stash.  There actually were several different fall-like images on the paper that I punched out and put the scalloped border around.  The leaves on the border were also on the same paper.  The yellow sheet is actually attached inside the card.

I love the brightness of this second card.  The stickers were actually ones that I've had hanging around for YEARS!!  I decided it was time to do something with them...or toss them.  If you know me, I have a hard time getting rid of things that still have a use, so I created cards that I can use this fall.

Hope that you enjoyed this little tour of the scraps from my craft room.  Thanks for stopping today.

  1. Great post, isn't it fun to put those "odds and ends" together?! Enjoying the spring weather?
