Two cards

I have two challenge cards today. Here's the first:

This one is for The Sweet Stop Challenge and also for the challenge at Winter Wonderland. At the Sweet Stop, the challenge was a sketch with a spin. The spin for this sketch is that you must use a Christmas image. Winter Wonderland had the challenge : Santa Claus is coming to town! I picked up this Santa stamp last season at Archiver's in their Hot Spot (sorry, don't know the manufacturer) and it had yet to see ink. The sentiment is a rub on from Creative Imaginations. I trimmed the matte for Santa with a decorative scissor, pen "stitched" on the green rectangle and pierced along the dark green wavy edge. The green circle was punched with a Martha Stewart punch, the snowflake brad was in my stash. The red striped paper was Reminisce Snowfall Stripe and the green rectangle was The Paper Company Green Diamond Brocade.

Here's the second card:
At Pile it on the challenge was to use mostly ORANGE on the project. At their site, the idea is to incorporate the Pile It On challenge with at least one other CURRENT challenge. The other challenge I chose was All Sorts Challenge. Here we were to use only 1 of anything you put on your card. Here's what I used: one Spellbinder's (Lattice Pendant) die cut (orange), one Special Moments rub on image, one Cuttlebug folder, one stamp (PTI everyday blessings) and one ink (SU Close to Cocoa). The background cardstock is a light orange (it looks more yellow in the photo) and then I sponged the ink on it to soften the look, add highlights and make the Cuttlebug image pop.

Thanks to all who stop by and check out my blog. Blessings to you!
