Thanks for the Award!

I was surprised to receive this blog award from Cindy Coutts at Christian Papercrafts Magazine. She has started an awesome online Christian community full of papercraft challenges and encouraging Christian fellowship. Check out her blog here. I must notify the bloggers of the award. 10 Honest Things About Me: 1. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and daily seek to live my life in a way that pleases Him. 2. I have lived in Minnesota for my entire life (so far). 3. I am an only child and my son is an only child. 4. I am a landscape consultant to my 17-year-old son, who is doing a landscape project for neighbors this summer. 5. I like flowers and gardening. 6. I have an unusual hobby of taking photos of roadside oddities and putting the photos in a scrapbook. (On vacations and driving trips, we have been known to drive out of the way in order to capture one on film!) 7. I have always enjoyed crafts. As a teen, I discovered counted cross stitch. I was introduced to stamping in the early 1990's but it took a back seat when I discovered scrapbooking. The last two years I have been trying to balance the two interests. 8. We just returned from an Alaskan cruise that we took with my parents. 9. I have been employed as support staff in the local school district for over 20 years. My husband also teaches in the same district (different school than mine). 10. We have two dogs (as well as a teenager) that keep life interesting at our house.
