Fun on Friday challenge
After a visit to the dr. and a prescription, I'm beginning to feel better. Still don't have too much energy, but wanted to make a card. I made a set of 5 of these cards for our church and used the SU Best Blossoms set. AFTER completing the card, I discovered that it fit the CPCM (link on my sidebar) Fun on Friday Only One challenge perfectly. We were to make a card using only supplies from one company. Mine is all SU - Purely Pomegranite ink and paper and Best Blossoms stamp set. (I even used a SU corner punch for the matted image!) Thanks for stopping by to look!

365 Cards - Simply Stamped
Here's my card for 365 Cards Simply Stamped. It also fits the Fun on Friday challenge at Christian Papercrafts to use a butterfly. The stamp is from Rubbernecker Stamps and is a new one I recently purchased. I love the look of stained glass and this image attracted me. I stamped the image with Versa Color ink, hence the lightness of the black. I then colored it using my twinkling H20 water colors. I will add a sentiment later. It really is only one layer, however, I used the wrong type paper to stamp the image on and when I colored it, the paper didn't dry flat. So... in order to remedy that, I had to cut the image from the first card and then adhere it to the new, flatter card base. Hope that it still counts for the challenge. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Another Fruit Card
Cindy at Christian Paper Crafts Magazine challenged us to make a card using fruits or vegetables and, for bonus points, add a scripture to it. Here's my card:
Paper was some in my stash. The luscious image of plums is actually an old sticker I had laying around begging to be used. The circles were cut with my Quickutz scallop circle die. I inked white Versa Color ink around the edge. Also pierced each scallop and then added a white dot with a gel pen. The verse is was made on my computer. The green paper is punched with a Fiskars border punch. Thanks for looking!

365 Cards - Day 100 Manic Monday
I'm a couple days late for completing this 365 Card challenge, but I LOVE primary colors and couldn't resist playing. The challenge was to use only bright colors - RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE. I combined this challenge with a sketch challenge that Danielle posted yesterday at Christian Paper Crafts Magazine. I love the way the colors pop when mounted on a black background.

Even Lemons are a "Fruit" of the Spirit!
On the Christian Paper Crafts Magazine Blog , (CPCM-FOF09) Cindy challenges us to discover her "theme" and create a card using it. I think this one should fit the challenge:
I think the theme is fruits and vegies. As I was trying to create this card, the only thing I kept "hearing" was "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!". Then my thought was, as a Christ-follower, what should my response be to those "lemons" of life? I think that the answer would be to add the sweetness of God's grace to those lemon-y situations of life and keep trusting in Him. I really like the brightness of this card. Thanks for stopping by to take a look.
